Rick Remish is the first Executive Director of Imagine West Virginia. A native of Ritchie County, Rick completed undergraduate work at both West Virginia University in Morgantown and American University in Washington, D.C. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian and Eastern European Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Following college, Rick landed on Capitol Hill to work in the United States Senate for five years as an aide to Senator Jay Rockefeller. He then served three years on staff in the Executive Branch with the Office of the Vice President. After completing his M.B.A. at George Washington University, Rick brought his wife, Bridget, to West Virginia to settle in Morgantown and begin work with Imagine.
Rick, Bridget and his son, John Patrick, currently reside on a small farm outside of Masontown in Preston County.
